Let Me Introduce Myself

My name is Steven Stout, after forty years as an Aircraft Mechanic/Technician (A&P). I decided to make my life long passion for firearms more than a hobby, a second career . I became a certified Gunsmith through American Gunsmithing Institute and continue to take my passion and hobby to the next level. My previous career was the perfect ground work for performing the precision task of trouble shooting, then repairing a broken firearm, threading a barrel or restoring a firearm. At SS Gunsmithing we strive to continually learn about firearms, how they function, and how to make them perform better.
